Susan Carol McClure, 63, of Indio, Calif. died April 19, 2013 in Indio, Calif. of respiratory failure. She was born October 4, 1949 to John M. Scott and Martha Scott in Normal, Ill. She married Kery McClure on August 16, 1968, in Kahoka, Mo. She was an Agency Field Consultant for State Farm Insurance. She was the president of the Classy 9ers Golf League. She is survived by her husband Kery McClure of Indio, Calif., her Daughter Shelley McClure of Tumwater, Wash., her sister Dawn Poppe (Kevin Poppe) of Lexington, Ill., her Brother John P. Scott (Linda Scott) of Bloomington, Ill., and her two grandchildren Dominick and Kat McClure. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Kery McClure, her Father John M. Scott, and her Mother Martha Scott. We are looking forward to a celebration of life taking place June in Redondo Beach, Calif., which includes scattering of the ashes as well as a celebration of life in Bloomington, Ill. later this summer.
