After the war she cared for her wounded brother and would always send packages back to Italy, to help both sides of her family. She moved to San Mateo and then to San Carlos to start her family. Mom was widowed young and then back to work. She worked many years in Belmont. After work she would go to the Church of Immaculate Heart of Mary to pray for her family. She volunteered at Sequoia Hospital for 16 years. She was able to go to Italy in the 1980's and slept in the stone house where her mother was born. She played as a child by Seals Stadium and became a big S.F. Giants fan. Mom survived many loses in her life. She was still doing her physical therapy until her last day. Thanks to all who cared for her and especially Tess. Never forgotten. Forever loved. Rest in peace Mom.
