Tributes for

Needham, Nancy J.

Nancy J. Needham
Nancy died peacefully, in Woodburn, Oregon on Mothers Day, May 12, 2013.

Nancy was born February 22, 1931, in Denver, Colorado. She married Robert Needham in June, 1949, and was widowed in December, 1995. She never remarried.

Nancy and her family lived in Colorado, Wyoming, and California, and they moved to the bay area in 1965. She was a loving housewife and mother, who in the late 60's, went to work for Safeco Insurance Company's Burlingame Office, where she worked for many years. A long standing resident of the San Francisco bay area, Nancy moved to Port Hadlock, Washington, after her husband's death, and later moved to Woodburn, Oregon in 2005.
Nancy's greatest joys were her family and friends, and she loved to create clothes. She was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed dazzling family and friends with gifts of her handiwork. For all who knew her, she will be remembered as a loving mom, with a great sense of humor, and a loving spark that touched many lives. She and her smile will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Nancy's three children include her two daughters, Pat McNeely of Colorado, and Julianna Waters of Oregon, and her son, Paul Needham, of Santa Clara, California. Other loving relatives left behind include her sister, Shirley Mattoon, her grandson, David Needham and his wife, Jenny Needham, along with their two lovely boys, Declan and Rory. Other extended family members include Julie McCluggage, Eva Needham, Lisa Reyes, Rueben Macias, and Evangelina Macias.

Services for Nancy will be held at St. Roberts Catholic Church in San Bruno, on Saturday, June 15th, at 10:00 am.
