Russell, Mary Jo Grogan Falk, 74, of Orange, California, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange.

Mary Jo was born April 1, 1939 in Oak Park, IL to Joseph and Camille Grogan. In 1958 she married Neil R. Falk, a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force in Vero Beach, Florida. They were blessed with two children, Mark and Erica. After 23 years as a military family, the family retired to Fullerton, California.

As a military wife and later as a member of Sigma Alpha Sorority, ETA ETA Chapter, Mary Jo spent many hours volunteering for a variety of organizations. After moving to California, Mary Jo worked in the printing industry and for a local certified public accountant. She was an exceptional bridge player and a voracious reader of biographies.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Camille Grogan, her brother-in-law, Frank Bice, and her first husband, Neil Falk.

Survivors include her younger sister, Dianne Bice; her son, Mark Falk and his wife, Polly Falk, Irvine, California; her daughter, Erica Falk Armstrong, Troy, Missouri; her grandchildren, Hayley, Kenna and Trace; her nieces, Sarah Bice Daniels (Spencer and Chase), of Placentia, California and Sacha Bice Han (Eduardo and Bianca) of Alexandria, Virginia; and her second husband, Robert Russell of Orange, California.

Funeral services will be held at McAulay & Wallace Funeral Home, 902 N. Harbor Blvd, Fullerton, California on Saturday, September 21st at 11:00 a.m.
