Lovell, Kenneth

Kenneth L. Lovell, 88, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2014. Ken, who was a Nebraska native, served in the Navy for three years during WWII and was a purple heart recipient. Upon returning, Ken met the love of his life, Florence Consbruck. Ken earned his Bachelor's degree from Hastings College and started his 33 year career with Bank of America including manager of the Tustin branch from 1961 to 1994. Ken was Tustin's Man of the Year in 1972 and enjoyed serving in the Knights of Columbus and Lions Club.

Survived by his loving wife of sixty-eight years, Florence Lovell; sons, Daniel and Doug; and daughter, Dianne (Lucas); brother, Chuck Lovell of Colorado; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by son, David Lovell. Ken loved backyard barbeques with his family and enjoyed their many friends.

A viewing and rosary will be held Wednesday, November 5th from 5:00-9:00p.m. at Saddleback Mortuary, 220 E. Main St.,Tustin. A mass will be held Thursday, November 6th at 10:00a.m. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, 1301 Sycamore Ave. in Tustin, concluding with graveside services at 1:45 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.
