Josephine exited this world to her Eternal Life in Heaven with all of the grace, dignity and meekness that she displayed all of the days of her life here on earth.
She was a loving widow of Harold F. Harper, Deputy Vice President of Lockheed Martin Space Systems, who preceded her in death in 1991 after 38 years of marriage. The Harper's were long time members of Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church from the 1960's.
Jo is survived by her devoted daughters Jo Lynne Kelsey, Pamela Chavez and son in-law Richard Chavez. Adored Grandmother of Cheryl and Russ Esau, Tanya and Josh Young, Jessica and Jeff Heilman and Christopher Chavez.
Loving Great Grandmother of Kyra, Kiely and Jacob Young as well as Jeffrey, Joseph, Madeline, Andrew, Washington and soon Teddy Heilman. Beloved sister to James Jones in Texas and Aunt to many nieces and nephews around the country. Jo lived life to the fullest in our local community and received the Crest Award in 2001 as Volunteer of the year for the City of Cupertino.
Come and learn about the wonderful life and legacy of Josephine Harper as Services will be held at LIMA CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY,1315 Hollenbeck Ave., Sunnyvale on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Dress is casual, Golf, Bowling, Favorite Football Team attire encouraged. Interment to follow at GATE OF HEAVEN CATHOLIC CEMETERY, Los Altos.
