Tributes for

Henry Jr., Jim

Henry Jr., James "Jim" William, 49, passed away on April 5, 2015 at his childhood home surrounded with his family, comforted by his wife and encircled with SuperLOVE. Jim lost his "21 month battle" to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He lived those 49 years like no other; from living internationally, cheering on his beloved Cal Bears & Angels, creating a loving family, playing & coaching in South Sunrise Little League, to humming the lyrics to every Queen or Jimmy Buffett song.

Jim was born on January 21, 1966, 7 minutes after his twin sister, Jennifer Leone Henry in Torrance, CA to James William, Sr. and Rozanne Henry. Jim was the father of three beautiful children: Bianca Chantel (daughter-deceased), Nolan Ryan (son) and Mia Marley (daughter). He is survived by his wife, Teresa Henry and their children Nolan & Mia; Rozanne Henry (mother); Frank Henry (brother); Suzanne (Henry) Lewis (sister); John Lewis (brother in law); James Lewis (nephew); Jennie Lewis (niece). Jim was loved from his first day on earth to his last breath of air by his beloved twin sister, Jenny Henry.

Jim Henry graduated from El Modena High School (1984), and the University of California at Berkeley (1989). He worked for: Club Med, the American Club/Hong Kong, other international hospitality venues and owned an export business. He worked around the world during his short lifetime. Jim Henry was a father, husband, brother, son, friend, uncle, Cal Bear, Chi Psi fraternity member, devoted Angels baseball fan, Club Med G.O., and a Leukemia Fighter (ask any of his nurses at the City of Hope).

Jim had over 900 friends on Facebook from all around the world; many posting on his timeline during his last week of life. 1500 people viewed his 'Hospice House Party' music video. Jim Henry spent the last 10 days of his life on his terms, sharing in a week long celebration of HIS life with a stream of family, friends, stories and SuperLOVE.
