Corey August Henke was born on May 11, 1983 in Fullerton, California and passed away on October 12, 2014. He spent most of his life in Fullerton, graduating from Troy High School, Fullerton College, Cal State Fullerton and Western State University College of Law, with a Degree of Juris Doctor. As a child of many interests, he loved martial arts, comic books, video games, drawing and collectible cards. As a young man, his interests grew to include water polo, swimming, snowboarding, poetry and literature. He worked as a lifeguard, swim instructor, writing tutor, behavioral therapist, and more. He had a great love of music and guitar playing, writing and recording songs on his own, and with his uncle, Alan. Corey is survived by his father, Charles; mother, Cindy; uncle and best friend, Alan; siblings, Danielle and Ren; step-grandmother, Linda Henke; and many more family and friends who love him dearly.
