Giovanna Caraffi
On July 23, 2013, Giovanna passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lammari, Italy on May 25, 1932 to her dear parents Giuseppe and Marianna Caraffi. In 1963 Giovanna immigrated to San Francisco and it has been her home ever since. She was a long time employee of Dianda's Bakery.

Giovanna was the cherished friend of Leeann Toscanelli, sister of the late Andrea and Luisiano Caraffi. Giovanna also leaves behind her sister-in-law Maria Caraffi, nieces Roberta (the late Luigi) and Maura , grand niece Daniela, grand nephews Robert and Alessandro and many other loving relatives both here and in Italy.

Friends may visit on Thursday (TODAY) after 4:00PM and are invited to the Vigil Service also on Thursday (TONIGHT) at 7:00PM and the Funeral Service on Friday at 10:30AM from the Chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co. 4840 Mission Street SF thence to Church of the Epiphany 827 Vienna St., SF where an 11:00AM Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
