John E. Giannelli Jr. passed away on August 25, 2011. He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, June Giannelli. He is also survived by his sons, John E. Giannelli III of Weston, CT, James Giannelli of Colfax, CA and Jeffrey Giannelli of San Clemente, CA, his daughters-in-law, Debbie, Linda and Lisa, his grandchildren, John, Patrick, Samantha, Christine, Michael, Ashley, Adam, Christopher, Amanda, Luke and Emma-Rose. John Giannelli Jr. retired from the United States Air Force after serving 27 years active


duty. At the time of his death he was working for the Department of Labor with 31 years of service. There will be a vigil for John Giannelli Jr. at the Russ Monroe Chapel located at 7960 Winding Way in Fair Oaks, CA on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, followed by a Rosary. A church service will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church at 1066 26th St., Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at 10:00am followed by a reception at the church. John Giannelli Jr. will be laid on to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery at 5810 Midway Rd., Dixon, CA on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at 2:00pm.
