Christine Gawley

Third generation Californian and native San Franciscan. Beloved daughter of the late Adrian A. & Christine S. Martinez: Devoted mother of James Martinez Gawley, D.M.D (deceased 1989) Loving friend of Dr.Peter & Diane Richards and the Reverend Cornelius Michael Buckley, S.J.
Christine was educated at the Convent of the Sacred Heart both in San Francisco and Menlo Park, Katherine Delmar Burke (Class of 1947) and The San Francisco College for Women-Lone Mountain (Class 1951) A lifelong community volunteer for the American Red Cross, United Crusade, Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, & LARC. Life member of the S F Garden Club, former treasurer and director of the Metropolitan Club of S F and vice president of the Century Club of San Francisco.
It was with great pride that she became a "Cornerstone Resident" of The San Francisco Towers where she was well cared for by the general and health care staff.
Funeral services will be private.
