Farrell, Grace Walker Grace Currie was born in Sydney Mines, Canada on April 24, 1922. She arrived in California in 1955 with her first Husband Donald Walker and their three children; Ginna, Donna and Tisha. A few years into their new life journey in California, their fourth daughter, Susan was born. And soon after, Grace began her 25 year career as a Surgery Aide at St Joseph Hospital in Orange. In 1975, after 35 years together, Donald became ill and died of cancer. His Memorial Service was held at St Boniface Catholic Church in Anaheim. Shortly after Donald's passing, Grace was blessed with her first grandson Donald Poynter, and he attended St Boniface School. In 1982, Grace met Irving Farrell and they were married in 1985 at St Boniface Church. Irv's three adult children were added to her family; Ronnie Farrell, Debi Jackson, and Pam Finegan. In 1994 Grace was blessed with her second grandson Ryan Kelsey, who attends Servite High School. Grace is pre-deceased by her second husband Irv, who passed in August 2010, after 25 years together. Grace lived the last three years of her life at Cross Creek Residential Care Home in Costa Mesa, CA. The care she received from the very attentive, compassionate and professional staff was so important and so appreciated. Grace is survived by her four daughters, Ginna (Bob) Roybal, Donna Walker, Tisha (Manny) Diaz, Susie (Craig) Kelsey; her step-daughter, Debi (Tom) Jackson, step-son, Ronnie Farrell; her two grandsons, Donald Poynter and Ryan Kelsey. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, July 27th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at HILGENFELD MORTUARY 120 E Broadway, Anaheim 92805 (714)-535-4105.
