Ripley-Schmelz, Donna
Born August 24th, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA, passed away January 24, 2013 at the age of 76. She is the oldest of 7 children; Bill Brandt, Betty Mulcahy, Polly Irwin, and James Brandt. Proceeded in death by brothers; Donald and Richard Brandt. She is survived by her husband Henry Schmelz. Beloved mother of four children; Jay Ripley (Joan), Marty Ripley (Lorraine), Cheryl Ritchie (Ron), and John Ripley (Dawne). Also survived by 6 step-children; Joyann Richardson, Laura Staus, Henry Schmelz, Jr., John Schmelz, Kathryn Mendoza, and Kristine Holler. She also leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. A viewing will be held Thurs. Jan. 31, 2013 from 4-8:00 pm, and service Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at 1:00 pm, both at Miller Funeral Home, 507 Scott St, Folsom, CA 95630. Reception will follow at the clubhouse at 3035 Eastern Ave, Sacramento, CA 95821.
