Barbara Jean Bosio Resident of San Mateo Barbara Jean Bosio was born on October 26, 1931 in San Francisco and died on August 20, 2014 at the age of 82. Barbara was the loving daughter of the late Bernice & Fred Bosio; and is survived by her loving sister Rita Balliet; her adored nieces and nephews; Denise (Steve dec.) Wallace, Debbie (Bill) Moyle, Martin Balliet and Rob (Lisa) Balliet; loving Great Auntie Barbara to Jenna, Justin, Matthew, Nikki, Brandon, Marty (Marty3 ), Sammi and Melissa. Also survived by her treasured cousin Jane Healy; and Jane's children, Aileen, Matt, and Carol; and her invaluable, loving caregivers Teni Finau and Iyvette Faiva. Not to be forgotten, her loyal canine companion, Bailee. Barbara was a dedicated PE teacher at Westmoor High School in Daly City for over 30 years. She retired to her home at the Boulder Creek Golf and Country Club and became an avid golfer, boasting 3 hole-in-ones!! Barbara was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will always be remembered for her zest for life, great sense of humor, quick wit and loving heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 11:00 am at Sneider, Sullivan & O'Connell's, 977 S El Camino Real, San Mateo. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Pets In Need, 871 Fifth Ave, Redwood City, CA 94063 or The First Tee of SF, 99 Harding Road, SF, CA 94132 or to a charity of your choice , is preferred.
