Vito Borella of South San Francisco passed away at his home on October 27, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Yvonne Borella and sons, Robert (Jean) Borella and Steven (Carmel) Borella: grandchildren; Marc (Cheryl) and Lauren Borella; Kevin (Blair), Nicholas, Brian, Andrew, Sean and Megan Borella and one great-grandson Anthony Borella. He is also survived by his sister, Marie Elstins and was the brother of the late Yolanda Corioni.

Vito was born in Borgo val di Taro, Italy and immigrated to this country May 1, 1947. He retired after 38 years service from Sunset Scavenger and enjoyed his 27 year long retirement. He was a long-time member and former president of the I.C.F. #290.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Wednesday, October 30, 2013, 10:00 AM at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 434 Alida Way in South San Francisco. Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. The family prefers that any memorial contributions be made to Pathways Hospice and Home Care, 585 N. Mary Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94085
