Baughman, Ray, 58 years old, passed away after a year's fight against cancer on September 7th with his wife Sheri and sons Alex and Blake at his side. Ray was a graduate of Carson High School in 1976 and Cal Poly Pomona as a landscape architect in 1985. Ray and Sheri were married in 1986. He worked as an architect until 1992 when he joined his dad Bob at A.P. Fischer Oil and Truck Lube in Long Beach. Ray and Sheri bought the business in 2002. Ray had many interests: traveling with his family, bonsai plants, boats, sport cars and classic cars. During this time he developed a classic car motor oil. Both boys and Sheri have been active in the oil business that Sheri will now run. A service will be held on October 3rd at 10:00 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Huntington Beach at 16400 Springdale St.
