Barrera, Juan R., 92, long time Anaheim resident, born May 25, 1919 in Anaheim, CA, passed away June 18, 2011 peacefully in his sleep at Loma Linda VA Living Ctr. Preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Guadalupe Barrera; sisters, Lupe and Josie; brothers, Fernando, Frank and Joseph; his children, Rosalie Ferrer and Humphrey Barrera. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Gloria R. Barrera; 4 children, Johnnie, Herlindo, Charles and JoAnn Stephan; brothers, Herlindo, Albert, George and Carlos Barrera; sisters, Eva Romo and Bertha Munoa; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Juan proudly served in the US Armed Forces in WWII. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed. Visitation on Monday, June 27, 4-8 pm, rosary at 7 pm at Hilgenfeld Mortuary in Anaheim. Mass on Tuesday, June 28 at 10 am at St. Anthony Claret Catholic Church in Anaheim, followed by interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange
