Adamo, Charles Anthony passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2017.
He left his home of 58 years to be with our Lord.
He was born on January 6, 1927 in Newark, New Jersey.
He was an active member of St. Cecilia's Choir and Parish in Tustin, CA for over 50 years. For 30 years together with his beloved wife, Sara and friends, they organize the annual St. Joseph's Table. Charles was a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus. He served our country in the Army during WWII and studied fine art at Chouinard School of Art, Los Angeles. He worked for Ford Aerospace for 33 years as the corporate Art Director.
He remained very active in Church and Community after retiring from the Aerospace industry. Charles and Sara traveled around the world many times which became his inspiration to create wonderful paintings that have become family treasures that adorn his home and the homes of his children. Charles was a mentor and a great art teacher in his later years. His love for Art also nurtured his love of music where he spent many years involved with Opera Pacific.
Charles or Charley as he liked to called is survived by his loving wife Sara, who he adored for over 64 years of marriage. He has 5 children, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Rosary: Friday, September 22, 2017 at 6pm Saddleback Chapel. Funeral Mass: Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Cecilia's Church. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulcher in Orange.
