LYNCH, Eugene 'Gene'
Died on Sunday, March 30, 2014, surrounded by the family who loved him so much.
Gene was born on June 8, 1933 in Rockford IL. He moved with his family to Sacramento where he graduated from Christian Brothers High School. Gene was a veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from Sacramento State in 1960.
He married Margaret on July 20, 1957. They were married for 56 wonderful years. He is survived by his three girls, Sharon Taylor, Nancy Doyle (John), and Erin Whitsell, grandchildren Jeff (Lesley), Kevin (Jen), Tim, Caity (Chris), Kelly, Casey, Marshall and Melissa, four great-grandchildren, his brother Larry (Kathy), his sister Patricia Quinn, his sister-in-law Rose Ann (Frank) Marchi, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral and celebration of his life will be held at St. Ignatius Parish Church at 3235 Arden Way, in Sacramento, CA on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
