May 11, 1936 - June 25, 2014 George J. Tricker of Woodland Hills, passed away peacefully on June 25th, 2014. A native of Brooklyn, NY, he moved to Woodland Hills in 1973, where he pursued a long and successful career as a comedy writer and playwright. But, his greatest accomplishment was that of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by mother, Clare Tricker, of Babylon, NY. Also surviving, his wife Bernadette, sons George III, Mark Nelson and wife Barbara, Robert Nelson and wife Anita, Stephen Nelson, Glenn Nelson, and daughters Lillian Cockrell, Bernadette Ines and son-in-law Ron Ines, Karen Henry and son-in-law Ted Henry. Also grandchildren Kate Nelson, Robert George Nelson, Jessica and Veronica Rohan and Ally Ines. His loving sisters Patricia Hargraves and husband James, Deborah Dominici and husband Frank, Barbara Jean Keen and brother Michael. Brother Donald preceded him to heaven. Also surviving nieces Valerie and Katie Dominici, and Brooke Ashley Keen. George was a funny, thoughtful and kindhearted man, and he will be missed by all. If you listen closely, you will hear the laughter coming from above. A funeral mass will be offered on July 25th, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Bernadine's Church, 24410 Calvert St., Woodland Hills, CA.
