Sipes, Stephen Allen,

lost his battle with cancer on July 6, 2012 at age 52. Steve was born in Davenport, IA on December 13,1959. At age 9, he moved to Stevensville, MI and graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1978. After high school, Steve lived in Chicago, Arizona and California, eventually settling in the Anaheim area and working for Disneyland for several years. Steve is survived by his twin son and daughter, Robert and Summer Sipes, his girlfriend and the mother of his twins, Alice Abney, and his brothers, Dave and Ed Sipes. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Marjory Sipes, and brother, Robert Sipes. Steve will be remembered for his love of the Chicago Cubs and the University of Michigan football, but most of all, he'll be remembered for being a great father to his twins, who were his reason for living. Steve enjoyed playing on softball and basketball leagues with his brothers and friends, and spending time with his family. He was a kind soul with a loving heart and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A memorial service will be held at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA at 10:30 a.m. on July 21,2012.
