Sharon Gallaher Stendel
80, of Ontario, died Jan 10th at Upland Rehab Facility in Upland. She was born 9-9-31 in Los Angeles, Ca and lived in Ontario, Ca for 48 years. She worked as an Elementary Teacher for 20 years and was a member of Associated Pomona Teachers and the Monte Vista Unitarian Universalist Congregation.
She is survived by her spouse Gamble M. Stendel. Daughter Susan (Richard Tews) Sons; Mark (Karen) John, Steve Stendel (Julie). Sister; Kathleen Gallaher, M.D. Brother; Douglas Gallaher. Grandchildren; Laura Stendel, Jennifer and Ryan Kelley, Marissa Stendel, Patrick Tews, Danielle Stendel, Jeremy Tews, Laurel and Mark Midani. Great G.C. Madison and Ashlyn Midani.

Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed teaching and worked hard to help her students succeed. She was a gourmet cook and loved entertaining and socializing with family and friends. She traveled extensively with her husband. She adored her dog, Honey Bunch. She was an avid reader and always interested in current events. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. We will miss her beautiful smile and she will remain in our hearts forever.
