Sprague, Sally Lynn

Sally Lynn Sprague was born on Nov. 11, 1935 in Harrisburg, Pa. She passed away peacefully at home in Redlands on Aug. 30, 2011 with her loving sons and daughter-in-laws by her side. Sally was an only child. She graduated high school and continued on to get a two year degree from Crafton Hills College. She worked many jobs and retired from the disability office at the State of California after 16 years. She liked to swim in the ocean and play cards. Sally loved to travel and visited five of the continents. She volunteered at Redlands Community Hospital and belonged to First United Methodist Church of Redlands. She was predeceased by her parents, Opha and Blanche Rogers. She is survived by her sons, Dan and Rhonda of Roseburg, Or., Rick and Nola of Yucaipa, and Kent and Teresa of Victorville; four grandchildren, Nathan, Jennifer, Kevin and Sara; two great grandchildren. Sally will be remembered as a wonderful mom, mother-in-law, grandma and friend. Her family wishes to thank everyone who visited, sent will wishes and support during the last year. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, Sept. 8th at 11am at The First United Methodist Church, 1 E. Olive St. Redlands, Ca. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the church.
