It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend. Frank Riker Shadbolt Jr. was born on December 22, 1940 in New Jersey, the only child of the late Frank Sr. and Rose Shadbolt. Living most of his life in Fullerton, California, raising his family with Sandy, his wife and best friend of 54 years. Frank left for Heaven on October 18, 2014 from his home in Buena Park. Retiring as business owner of King Textile Company in 1996, he spent the years enjoying his favorite activities of traveling with Sandy, making memories with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, golfing, playing poker and living one day at a time. Frank was a grateful member of AA for over 25 years, passing with 9,233 days of being clean and sober. Frank was preceded in death by his son, Frank III. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Tom Drew; daughter, Leanne Shadbolt; grandchildren, Frankie and Brent Shadbolt, Aaron (Brianna) Drew, Megan (Shawn) Bell, Joshua (Danielle) Fenner, Jeremiah Fenner; great-grandchildren, Riker and Coral Bell, Hannah and Ian Fenner; and many other dear family members and friends. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11am at McAulay and Wallace Mortuary in Fullerton, CA.
