Tributes for

Sebek, Adrian "Hawk"

Sebek, Adrian Frank, 85, of Park City, Utah, left this world peacefully on March 23, 2014, surrounded by his beloved family.

Adrian was born September 20, 1928 in Fremont, Nebraska. He moved to Southern California at the age of 14, when he took on his middle name of Frank, and graduated LA High School, Class of '46. He met his wife Jeanne at the beach, and they married in 1953. He was a pilot and proud serviceman of the United States Air Force, stationed in Chandler, Arizona during the Korean War. His love of airplanes continued throughout his entire life. Frank and Jeanne raised their four children in Newport Beach, California next to the ocean they both adored. Frank worked as a salesman of building and plumbing supplies in the early years, and later opened ALL-Check-Cashing in Tustin, CA.

Once retired, "Hawk" (the name he became affectionately known by), moved to Park City in 2004. He was an eclectic, one-of-a-kind, incredibly unique, smooth talking, lover of music, dance, great hats, unique people, family, and plain ole' having fun. He was loving, generous, and kind. He held close to his heart his cherished family and the extended family he formed during his ten years in Park City. Hawk lived a full life and enjoyed it right up until the end, calling everyday, his BEST DAY EVER! He had enormous vigor and vitality and shined brightly to all those who knew him. He would often say that he was an 18 year old, trapped in an old body. We will miss his, "BADA BING, BADA BOOM" smooth moves, enthusiastic stories and deciphering his most original "Hawk-eeze" language in daily emails. YAH-FER-SHUR your memory will always put a smile on our face. GROT-ZEE Hawk, for brightening this world, one person at a time. Your fun loving, carefree, spirit displayed to all, how to live a joyful and simple life.

Adrian Frank Sebek (aka Hawk) is survived by his sister, Sue (Stanley) Jones of Payson, AZ, and his four children; John (Debbie) Sebek of Park City along with Lynn (Bill) White, Jeff (Ann) Sebek, and Patti Fisher all from California. In addition, he leaves behind 5 loving grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and his "adopted" French son, Michel Cochet. He will be dearly missed, but Hawk's memories will continue to soar, and never be forgotten.

A memorial will be held in Hawk's honor in Park City, sometime in May.
