Raymond Andrew Schultz Jr.
Age 60, passed away peacefully in Buena Park on November 29, 2013. He was born on April 27, 1953 to Shirley and Raymond Schultz Sr. in Long Beach. A true California native, Raymond lived most of his life throughout Orange County and Riverside.

Known as ‘Ray’ to his family and friends, he graduated from Foothill High School in 1971. An accomplished athlete, he received a basketball scholarship to Kansas University. After college, he moved to Riverside and started his family.

Most of his working years were in Real Estate Sales, Title Insurance, and Mortgage Banking. He thrived on watching and playing sports, coaching his daughters, reading, listening to music, making others laugh, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved going to beach and enjoyed anything that allowed him to soak up the California sun. Ray was known for his sense of humor and avid encouragement of others.

He is survived by daughters, Danielle and Shawna Schultz, parents, Shirley and Bernie Derech, four younger brothers, John, Jim, Rob and Richie, and twelve nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond A. Schultz Sr.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11am at Brown Colonial Mortuary 204 W. 17th Street, Santa Ana, California 92706.
