Santora, Dante Don entered into heaven on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the age of 96. He had resided in Pacifica since 1992. Beloved husband of the late Eda Santora. Devoted son of the late Joseph Santora of Messina, Italy and Shara Micelli of S'agata, Italy. Loving father of George Santora of Pacifica. Beloved brother of Josephine, Angie and the late Tony, Theresa and Marie. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He had many friends who will miss him. A native of San Francisco, he played semi pro baseball in the 30's, 40's, and 50's and worked as a longshoreman for 35yrs. A member of the ILWU Local 10, San Francisco Old-timers Baseball Assoc, The Friends of Marino Pieretti/Dante Benedetti, & Northern California Boxing Assoc. Funeral Services will be private with committal at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
