Sandra Ardell Keith Carruthers, of Cathedral City, Calif., died March 13, 2013 in Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs. She was born September 19, 1947, to Sam Keith and Margaret Lackey in California. She is survived by: daughter, Barbera Carruthers of Folsom, Calif., son, Matthew Carruthers of Oceanside, Calif.; sisters, Patti Keith McCarron of Palm Springs, Beverle Keith of Yucca Valley, Terri Lackey McMichael of Yucca Valley all of California; brother, Richard Keith of Modesto, Calif. and four grandchildren. Services will be private. The family suggests that donations be made to The Salvation Army.
