Tributes for

Rodigou, Marguerite

Marguerite Rodigou Resident of San Francisco. Marguerite was the wife of 62 years of Rene, a fellow U.S. Marine, who shared her sense of humor and who became her loving caretaker. Marguerite was always proud of her service in the USMC during WWII. She was the mother of Anita (Cary), John (Nina), Theresa (Rodney), Mary (Jay), Marguerite (Jim), and grandmother of Thomas, Daniel, Michael, Emily, Jamie, and Susan. Marguerite's sewing skills were admired by everyone, including her children, who will always remember the homemade clothing and costumes lovingly sewn over the years. Her friends in the "Sewing Club" (who recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary) were like sisters to her. A woman of strong faith, Marguerite was a devoted parishioner of Holy Name for 58 years. The entire family, as well as so many others, will miss but remember her as our bright, cheerful, gracious, patient, and hardworking wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to any of the following (or the charity of your choice ): Sutter VNA & Hospice (Sutter Care at Home), CPMC Foundation (Memory Clinic), St. Anthony Foundation. There will be a Memorial Mass at Holy Name Church on Friday June 8, 2012 at 11 am.
