Emily Bauer Roberts was born on July 16, 1974 and passed away April 2, 2015 in her home with her husband, Todd Roberts by her side.

Emily was born and raised in Tustin, California. Emily and her family loved travel and adventure. As a young woman she went to Chile for six months and in college she spent a semester in Africa working with AIDs orphans. During her time there they visited Sri Lanka, Qatar, Thailand, Hong Kong, Israel, Turkey, Italy, Europe and Tunisia. Emily was full of adventure, spirited, and lived a life with no limits. Emily attended Emory University and graduated with a B.A. and M.P.H. in Public Health. She worked at the Orange County Department of Education and the American Embassy School in New Delhi. As a community member, Emily wrote the grant and helped established the school garden at Tustin Memorial Academy.
