Perez, Ralph C., left us to be with the Lord on April 10, 2012 at the age of 96. Born on October 16, 1915, in Glendale, AZ, his parents moved to El Modena, Orange when he was a baby. He spent all of his life in Orange County, CA. He attended Orange High School. He married the love of his life, Ruth and they eventually moved to Santa Ana in 1949. They were married 75 years this past March 24. He is survived by his wife Ruth; daughters, Carole Vargas and Janice (Jess) Carroll; grandson, Zackary Castro; sister, Maria Flora Oropeza; brother, Salvadore; nieces, Arlene, Eva, Cindy, Vivian, Joyce, Cira and many grandnieces and grandnephews. His presence will be greatly missed, as he was the best husband and father anyone could have ever asked for. He was a great caretaker for the whole family and always looked forward to the next family party....The family wishes to thank his special nurse, Helen Scott of Hospice Touch and his constant caregivers Estela Perez and Cristina Fraede Vargas.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm Sunday at Brown Colonial Mortuary with a vigil service at 7:00 pm in the mortuary chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Santa Ana, CA. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange, CA.
