Richard (Dick) Nordberg, 75, of Sun City, AZ passed away on October 5, 2011, at his home with his family by his side. He was born September 25, 1936 in Jacobson, MN.
Dick is survived by his wife of 49 years, Erlys; three children: Scott (Mary) Nordberg of Gunnison, CO, Michelle (Mike) Ryan of Mesa, AZ and Chad (Andrea) Nordberg of Mesa, AZ. He had 5 grandchildren: Matt Ryan and Casey, Cary, Rylee and Ryann Nordberg. Dick is further survived by his brother, Tom (Jean) Nordberg of Grand Rapids, MN and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jackie.
Dick was an administrator in education in Minnesota, North Dakota & Montana before retiring in Arizona in 1993. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing & spending time with his family.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Nordberg home in Sun City. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to a charity of choice.
The family wants to thank the staff at Prime Care for their compassion and support. Dick will be greatly missed!
