Tributes for

Newspaper, The Print

Send a Note

It is with sadness that we inform you of the passing of the daily print newspaper as the primary source for funeral information. After a long and valiant fight against the instantaneous global reach of its online competition, the paper inevitably succumbed to high costs and poor circulation. "The Daily" as it was affectionately known was predeceased by the horse and buggy, the rooftop TV aentenna, the typewriter and the rotary telephone. Left to cherish its memory and to build on its legacy as the community's number one resource for death announcement and obituaries is funeralinfo.com. "The Daily" will be fondly remembered at a memorial bonfire that will be lit at Mission Beach, fire pit #86ed on November 2nd, a day long remembered as, "The Day of the Dead". All old newspapers are welcome. In lieu of a charitable donation, we suggest you send flowers to a loved one in its memory.
