Nana Dimmen Ruth born in Alesund, Norway May 14, 1920, passed quietly January 19, 2013. Came to America with parents and sister in 1922. A 50 year resident of Lakeview Hills, Granite Bay, she was active in numerous social clubs and activities with area residents. She was widowed in 1997 after the death of her husband, Audrey Floyd (Butch) Ruth and predeceased by her son, Danny in 1965. Nana is survived by daughters, Judy Allen, Janine Ruth; son, Jeffery Ruth; grandsons, Paul Allen (Brenda) and Jesse Matteson Ruth; great-granddaughter, Jessica LeAnn Allen. Cremated remains will be interred in the family plot at Forest View Cemetery in Nevada City. There will be no services by her request. A memorial will be announced at a later date.
