Alida Ruth Murray went to her everlasting rest on July 3rd, 2014. She was the beloved daughter of Donald and Mary Murray. She will be greatly missed by her family and the love of her life, Jeff Harris. She is survived by her parents, sister Melissa, brother William, her grandmother Veda Hepner, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and one great-niece. Alida attended Sierra Enterprise Elementary School, Kerr Middle School and Florin High School. She was active in FFA, 4-H and marching/concert band. Her childhood was spent riding horses, caring for her animals and being a country girl. Alida was a fun-loving, kind and generous woman. She loved line-dancing and Karaoke. She worked hard in her job. If you knew Alida, you probably also loved her. She was our "Baby Ruth". Alida was born in Sacramento CA on May 19, 1976. She passed away at 6pm July 3, 2014, at Methodist Hospital in South Sacramento. Visitation will be available from Noon to 5PM at Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd. on Monday, July 14, 2014. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Elk Grove Funeral Chapel at 10 AM. Graveside service will be held 30 minutes afterward at Camellia Memorial Lawn at 10221 Jackson Rd, Sacramento, CA. A reception will follow at The Happy Bar at 5236 Bradshaw Road.
