McMillan, Carol Coomer, of Tustin, born 9/17/1931 in Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange on 5/11/2011. Carol leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Byron K. McMillan; son, Jim (Newbury Park, CA); daughter, Julie (Ross, CA); son-in-law, Tim Baughman; and grandchildren, Sam, Katie and Jack Baughman. A woman of tremendous strength, grace, compassion and commitment, Carol was a member of the Tustin community for over 50 years, belonging to the Assistance League of Santa Ana, PEO, and numerous garden and bridge clubs. A Celebration of Carol's life will be held Saturday, June 4, 2:00 pm at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1201 Irvine Blvd., Tustin 92780. Donations may be made in her honor to Assistance League, 1037 W. 1st St., Santa Ana, 92703.
