Martinez, Evelyn Born June 27, 1923 to George and Katina Domich. Passed peacefully from this life February 17, 2015. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years Leon "Pudgie" Martinez, her parents, sisters Oleva Wallace and Ann Franzella, brother-in-law Joe Franzella and son-in-law Allen Birkman. Survived by daughter Barbara, son Jerry (Sharon), grandson Scott, granddaughter Stacey (Kelly), great granddaughter Hayley, nieces and nephews, including Larry Woodard, devoted caregivers Reapi, Aggie and Nurse Shikha and numerous family and friends. A lifelong Sacramento resident, Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt who always put the wellbeing and happiness of her family first. Evelyn will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Parish, 1040 39th St, Sacramento, CA on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 10:00am. Interment immediately following at St. Mary's Cemetery.
