Marsters, Laurentz R. "Larry", passed away on January 11, 2012 at the age of 88. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Larry had resided in Orange County for almost 50 years. Larry served with distinction in the United States Navy during WWII, and later earned BS and BBA degrees from the University of Oregon, and was a graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking. Larry worked over 54 years in real estate related industries, including Vice President - Union Bank as construction lender to Orange County developers; Vice President - Continental Illinois Properties, a NYSE real estate investment company; President/Owner - Executive Management Group, managing large apartment complexes throughout the western U.S.; and Owner/Broker - Help-U-Sell Smart Choice Realty for 24 years. Larry also enjoyed being active in the local community, and he served on both the Tustin Planning Commission and Tustin City Council, as well as being a member of the American Legion Newport Harbor Post 291 and Newport Harbor Elks Lodge 1767.

Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marjorie, and his sons, Gary, Erik and Randy (Amy).

A memorial service will celebrate Larry's life on Sunday, January 22 at 1 p.m. at Saddleback Chapel Mortuary in Tustin.
