Roberts, Marcelle M., a long time resident of Santa Ana passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 of heart failure. She had recently celebrated her 84th birthday with her family. Marcelle loved children and spent her life educating them. She worked for many years as a
Head Start School Teacher and Director in Santa Ana. Many of her former students, although now adults, would often visit her and bring her gifts. She most recently served as the "Queen of Christian Education" at Second Baptist Church of Santa Ana, where she assisted in the administration of the Sunday School, Baptist Training Union and Vacation Bible School ministries there. She leaves a host of family memebers, loved ones and friends to cherish her memory and carry her legacy of love. Wake will take place at Second Baptist Church Friday December 5, 2014, 6-8pm and Funeral Service will be Saturday December 6, 2014 10:30am also at Second Baptist Church. Interment at Santa Ana Cemetery Concluding Service.
