Long, Jack H., 90, of Seal Beach, CA, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in Long Beach, CA. Elizabeth Long, his loving wife of nearly 70 years was at his side. Jack and Beth raised 5 children in Lynwood, CA. Jack served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1946, and was an active member of the American Legion. Jack had a successful and distinguished 35 year career in the food business. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Long; his children, Karen Sands (Tustin, CA), Gregory Long, (Seal Beach, CA), Leslie Cauchi, (San Mateo, CA), Kevin Long (Chino Hills, CA), and Loretta Serfling (Palm Desert, CA) and their spouses, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. A private family burial will take place on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your favorite charity in his name.
