Katanich, Leonard Daniel, 90, of Tustin, passed away on Mar. 15, 2013. Born in Wilder, KY. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma, was a pilot during World War II (Pacific theater), lived in Orange County for 45 years and was the last Commander of the Tustin VFM Post before it merged with the Santa Ana VFW Post. He is survived by his sons Steven and David and will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Vivian, at Fairhaven Memorial Park.
