Kelly Lynn Betts of Sacramento, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 surrounded by her family at a hospital in San Francisco after a hard fought struggle with liver failure.

Kelly was 51 years old, a graduate of Warren High School in Downey, CA and a 1984 graduate of Pepperdine University. She is survived by her daughter, Samantha 22; a son, Kyle 17; mother, Linda Callahan of Sacramento; father, Curt Steele of Roseburg, Oregon; a brother, Curt Steele of Aliso Viejo, California and siblings, Colleen Spangler, Dan Callahan, Kevin Callahan, Tim Callahan, Maureen Hartman and Eileen Callahan.

Her greatest joys and passions in life were her children and their activities and friends.

Games, laughter, friendship and life became a central focus for each and every day, she enjoyed her journey.

Memorial services and reception will be held on Saturday, May 31st at 11am at Sungrove Church, 2285 Longport Court, Elk Grove, CA 95758.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation to: Patelco Credit Union, 9121 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, CA 95624, in the name of Kelly Betts, for her 2 children.
