Jean Jones left our dysfunctional society very quietly, with a final breath, in a deep sleep at the TLC Care Center in Henderson, July 9, 2011. She was born in Minneapolis, Jan. 25, 1917. She spent her early years there with many years of ensuing travel throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia. She married Donovan Jones in Honolulu, November 1953. Don, a U.S. Air Force colonel, preceded her in death in January 1997. Jean lived alone in their home here in Las Vegas until her last mission to join her beloved Don, in a better place. She was an extremely intelligent and witty lady and had no problem speaking her opinions and delights. There are no ceremonies, interment is in the Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City.
