Tributes for

Delgado, Joseph Henry

Delgado, Joseph Henry, born July 18, 1937 in Costa Mesa, California in a house on Laguna Ave, which was across the street from the, "airplane", Lion's park. The Costa Mesa Courtyard shopping center now sits on what used to be Laguna Ave, offices and homes. Joe passed away peacefully and happy in his desert home in Landers, California on April 6, 2013. Joe retired from the City of Newport Beach after 31 years of service; he is a member of the Moose Lodge 1788 in Landers, CA. Joe enjoyed life for 75 years and 9 months, to the fullest until the very end. His honesty brought lots of laughter because it was just that, pure honesty! He loved to make "misery" for all, in his own way and yet somehow brought you happiness! His smile, fun spirit, honesty, loyalty, big heart and his ability to make sure that everyone around him was having an awesome time made him a delight to be around!!!

Joe is survived by brothers, Art Delgado of San Diego, Dan Delgado of Costa Mesa; daughter, Jolene Delgado Kostenbader of Costa Mesa; son, Joseph Mario Delgado of Costa Mesa; daughter, Joanne Marlene Roth of Lake Balboa; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer, Joey, Samantha, Anthony, Jeffrey, Ravyn, Gage, Josh and Hayley; 8 great grandchildren, Evangelina, Nikolas, Jakob, Alissa, Michaiah, Regan, Ashlynn and Savannah.
