Tsujioka, James M.

Tsujioka, James Masaru, 77, of Anaheim Hills, California, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at his home.

James was born on November 10. 1935, in Artesia, California. His family was interned in the Jerome, Arkansas, relocation center during World War II. Upon returning to Artesia, Jim continued his education graduating from Bellflower High School. He attended Long Beach City College before serving in the Army. He then studied at California State University, Long Beach, receiving a degree in Business. James was a partner of Frank's Market Corporation, which successfully established several liquor stores in Orange County along with Pacific Ranch Market in the city of Orange and Marbella Farmers Market in San Juan Capistrano, still operating today.

He enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all. His generosity, kindness, positive nature and love for life will always be remembered.

James is survived by his: companion, Donna Pizer; daughters, Donna Suzuki (Peter Suzuki), Penny Takeda and Pam Tsujioka; grandchildren, Stephanie Takeda Hino (Tim Hino) and Allyson Takeda, Kori and Allyn Suzuki; older sister, May Tanaka; and youngest brother, Dan Tsujioka.

A "celebration of life'" gathering will be held in his honor. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for pancreatic cancer research.
