Puccio, Jean

August 4, 1948 - February 25th 2013

To all of her loving family and friends, it is with broken hearts that we inform you that our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Jean Puccio, passed away on February 25th, 2013. Jean as many who knew her well, met her briefly, or heard about her described from a family member or friend know, she was one of the most amazing women that this world will ever know. She has touched so many people in such a real and genuine way that there is no sense to be made out of this tragedy.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony; children, Gina, John, and Joseph Puccio, Julie Stremick her husband Sam; and seven beautiful grandchildren who will miss her dearly

As a family we are enduring a great deal of pain due to this loss. In the short period of time we had to wrap our heads around this disease, we have come to realize that many families have endured similar experiences. Due to the lack of funding, knowledge and experience with this disease, there are not many answers. There is also a lack of understanding, direction and hope for the few people in the world that face CJD each year. In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that anyone who feels it in their hearts to reach out to our family and Jean, please make a donation to the CJD foundation in her name. We hope to place some purpose, meaning and positive outcome on the loss of our Beloved Angel. We can only hope that future families can have more answers than we did and more time to spend with their loved one.

Visitation: Monday March 4, 6:00-9:00PM with Vigil Service at 7:00PM at Shannon-Bryan Mortuary in Orange. Funeral Mass: Tuesday March 5, 10:00AM at St. Norbert Catholic Church in Orange, with Interment immediately following at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
