Born in Reno Nevada and raised in Auburn Calif. He was 27. James served six years in the Army as a helicopter mechanic. Stationed in Germany he deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. He finished his active duty at Fort Bragg N.C. and joined the Army Reserves. He continued working on helicopters as a civilian.
Survived by his wife and daughter, mom and dad, all of Fayetteville N.C. and two sisters, three nieces and one nephew, all of California. James was a very sweet and special guy with a touch of goofiness. He loved his family deeply and had a passion for mountain biking. James was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
