Iva Jane died peacefully in Orange, CA on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 due to respiratory failure. Born in Jeannette, PA on July 23, 1924, the beloved daughter of Iva Jane and Harry Stemple. Iva Jane was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, crafts and foremost, the love of her family and providing for her family She was a sweet, gentle, kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, whose three favorite words were simply, "I love you." Iva Jane is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joseph of Orange, CA,. sons Gerald of Tustin, CA Terrance of Orange, CA and Kelly of Orange, CA: grandchildren Joseph and Madeline of Orange, CA; and special friend and daughter-in-law, Julia of Orange, (wife of Terrance).
Viewing will be Friday from 3-6pm at Holy Family Cathedral, 566 S. Glassell St., Orange. A vigil service will be held at 6:00pm in the Cathedral. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday in the Cathedral.
