Tributes for

Heim, Mary Louise

Mary Louise (Aversa) Heim was born in Utica, New York in 1928 of Italian immigrant parents. She was the third of five children; Gregory, Salvatore, Ralph Jr. & Joyce. Growing up in Utica, she befriended the girl who lived behind her. Sometime later, that girl’s brother was to become her husband, Charles. They married in 1948, they had their first daughter Sharon and moved to Southern California in 1953, where they made their home for over 40 years. Three children followed; Cyndy, Charlene and Charles.

While raising four children, Mary Lou worked as a grocery checker for Safeway Stores. In her 40’s, Mary Lou went to night school and earned her real estate license. She was an agent for over 25 years, in the Placentia/Yorba Linda area. She retired in 2000, when her husband, Charles, passed away.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Mary Lou was known for her generous nature and warm smile. She is survived by her four children ; Sharon (Mark) Cole, Cyndy (Greg) Mone, Charlene (Ron) Grace and Charles Heim; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mary Lou was committed to her loving family and will be dearly missed. Her memory will live on in our hearts.
