Tributes for

Greenwood, Heidi

Heidi Greenwood, age 18, passed away suddenly Friday morning, March 22, 2013, after a brief and unexpected illness.
Heidi was an avid runner, loving sister and daughter, and friend to all. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a deep and personal relationship with her Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ. Heidi knew who she was. She strived to live a Christ-like life and to be worthy of Heaven's greatest blessings.
Heidi Greenwood was born on March 2, 1995 in Landstuhl Germany where her father was stationed with the United States Air Force. Heidi was born into an amazing family. She was the fourth of seven children who learned to love, laugh, read, run and play with passion.
Because of her father's military service, Heidi was able to see and live in many wonderful places and collected friends wherever she went.
Heidi loved to run and was looking forward to running with the BYU-Hawaii cross-country team in the fall. She was a true and loyal friend who inspired others to see the best in themselves. Above all, Heidi loved babies and children. She had a gift of connecting with tiny hearts and minds. She will be deeply missed by all of the children whose lives she touched. Heidi was planning on studying Elementary Education and becoming a teacher. She would have been wonderful.
We know that Heidi was called home. She was needed in heaven and is no doubt holding babies and making friends there. She will be profoundly missed by her loving family and all who knew her. Those who will feel the loss most deeply will be her father and mother, Brian and Paige Greenwood, her beloved siblings, Amy (Jason) Evans , Lisa (Tolson) Nichols, Dana, Erin, Jason and Rachel as well as her grandparents, Lynn and Mariet Greenwood and Nile and Karen Jensen.
